Bryan and Gina are the owners of Healing Waters Therapeutic Float Center in beautiful Jackson, Wyoming. The yearning for less stress in their lives and for more peace of mind led them to try floatation therapy for the first time a little over two years ago. They have been passionate about floating ever since.
Gina, a lifelong Wyomingite, worked in a coal mine for 8 years driving a 200-ton haul truck before she and Bryan had their daughter, Zoey. After Zoey was born, Gina was happy to be a stay-at-home mom. Throughout her life, she has loved creating art and often does commissioned work. However, like most people, she has had bouts of anxiety and insomnia that stemmed from both work and parenthood. Floatation therapy seemed like an intriguing idea, so she tried it.
The overwhelming sense of peace and relaxation she felt after her first float made her a believer and she had to tell everyone she knew about the amazing benefits. Naturally, Bryan was first on her list of people to share this with.
Bryan was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He spent his younger years fishing in the Gulf and surfing. The oilfield brought him to Wyoming, where he happily made it his new home. He embraced all the new things Wyoming had to offer. He spent 9 years in the oilfield industry, quickly working his way to upper management. Newfound responsibilities quickly added up and so did the stress, aches, and pains. Bryan’s first time floating was much different than Gina’s. He found he had a hard time shutting off his mind. It was difficult to not think of work while in the pod. His second float, however, was much different and he emerged feeling deeply relaxed and his stress and aches had faded.
So began the journey to start a floatation center to share this simple yet effective natural way of healing the mind, body, and spirit.
